February 25, 2023 - Tropical notes with a tiny hint of some oak. This bottle was gone in a flash paired with the salad course. This is still showing beautifully at 9 years old.

October 7, 2022 - Utterly fascinating - one of the usual NE nose of nettle or grass / cats . Nose very quiet
Palate also somewhat lacking with a lack of mid range
Give this 30 mins or more to open - now the kick and acidity appears with more of a dense palate
It’s Alamo t a chard / sauv hybrid in some ways
I need to try another bottle and work out what I really think of it.

June 4, 2022 - Clear light gold color. Light grass and melon aroma and flavor with moderate high acidity. A little caramel sweetness rounds it out. Oak is well integrated (those Dagueneau cigar barrels). Has more body and depth than is typical for the style, owing to long skin contact providing more opulence. Moderate finish with a little white pepper. This is my go to SB and currently a very good QPR.

March 23, 2021 - So different from any Sauvignon Blanc I've ever tried before. On the nose, stone fruits and melons, a hint of tropical fruit, the barest wisp of pyrazines, and a dollop of oak. On the palate, consistent with the nose except for a bit of candied fruit that is hard to place. Nice acidity yet a smooth mouthfeel from the malolactic and lees contact. Given my preferences with Chardonnay I should hate this, but I don't. A very unique and well-made wine.

March 12, 2021 - Wow. Full, luscious, oak, some pear and other stone fruits with a little bit of citrus. Some acidity but not the standard SB way. Damn, Really interesting wine. Took me for a ride.
