May 14, 2022 - Not a type of wine I enjoy. More interesting than enjoyable. I had opened two bottles. One was badly flawed with an overpowering aroma of fingernail polish. The other was decent indicating quite a bit of bottle variation. Too much of a leathery style for me.

March 28, 2020 - This is delicious, pure Nebbiolo that is full of fruit and earth. Leather, tobacco and sweet red fruit. Neither skinny nor fat, this wine has added weight since the last bottle. There is a spicy oak kick on the nose that nicely buffers the fruit. Perfect maturity but enough umph to last a while. Almost sunny in nature yet full of buffer and extract. Terrific wine. (92)

December 1, 2018 - Aged well. Benefited from a short decant, but this is right in the window. Lonk dark deep fruit finish. Bit of tobaco.
