December 8, 2022 - I’ll admit that I was having a hard time seeing the appeal of this wine several years ago, but now it is quite sublime.

February 4, 2022 - Tried 2/4/2022...decent flavor, low tannins but heavy mouth feel. Recommend aging another year.

    Tried 3/3/2023...good to go!

March 10, 2021 - Earthyyy with a vanilla oaky nose, black cherry, chocolate and espresso, strong tannins with an alcohol bite at the end. Ecxcellent wine with tomato based sauces.

November 16, 2020 - This is really starting to come together nicely, even since April when I last tasted it. I don't think this is ever going to be anything overly complex, but this is a great food wine that is a definite crowd pleaser. Will be best in the next several years.

August 7, 2020 - Very light but tasted like the wine sat on the skins for a while. Dry, tannic with an aroma of subtle grape jelly, very restrained fruit and a little grip on the finish. Terrific wine for pesto/goat cheese stuffed chicken breast. Really good balance.

August 7, 2020 - Perfect with food. Tastes like it sat on the skins for a long time. Light, crisp and a bit dry with strong tannic structure. Paired well with a pesto/goat cheese/ tomato. Terrific

April 24, 2020 - Day 1 - I am not impressed. Acidic and unbalanced. Not what I was hoping for. 84pts.
Day 2- This coming together better. Some red cherry fruit and rich oak coming through. 88pts.
Day 3 - There is no way this is the same wine. What a rich and balanced wine. Great fruit, mostly primary and secondary, but what an amazing QPR. Woodward Canyon says this will drink well for 5 years, but I see this going longer than that. 92pts.
