March 9, 2024 - This is just lovely - missing the gritty minerality that I like so much in Beaujolais but it's just not that style. Rather, it's a softer and more elegant presentation and it is extremely nice. Medium-bodied, quite Moulin-a-Vent in character with its softer edges and depth. Medium plus acidity, medium mins tannina. Strawberry - both overripe and under-ripe, along with red currant, cherry and a bit of cranberry in the acidity. Earthy - forest floor and a touch of herbal character. No carbonic maceration characteristics. Nice stuff - thinking of getting a bit more.

July 1, 2023 - Drank over three days.

Nice structured wine with fairly firm tannins. Age-worthy. Field strawberries, juicy ripe cherries, sour cranberries. Great sweet and sour balance. Mouth watering tart acidity. Long finish

May 7, 2023 - Juicy, red berries flavour. Richer and more complex flavours than other Beaujolais Crus, but typical of Moulin-a-Vent. Subtle spice and oak but not too pronounced. Good acidity and very gluggable and mouth-watering! Delicious.

March 16, 2023 - Webinar hosted by The Wine Society, UK, with tasting wines sent in advance. "An evening with Edouard Parinet of Chateau du Moulin-au-Vent."

Medium garnet colour. Subtle nose, not too prominent, some red berries. Light, well balanced palate, some spice, herbaceous. At oerfect maturity now.
