April 12, 2022 - Fruity, jammy, red berry nose. Ripe and warming, soft and plush palate with some toast amongst the flavours. Almost the balance I'm looking for in a GSM, but more alcohol and acid than is welcome show up on the finish.

April 22, 2021 - Head Wines Zoom tasting. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of blackberries, black cherries, black pepper, black licorice. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14.2%) soft high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of blackberries, black cherries, black licorice, black pepper, various other spices. Bitter medium+ finish.
Very good quality GSM. Serious good QPR. Drink over next 2-3 years. -

February 3, 2021 - Excels in the art of uncomplicated. Clean simple varietal fruits, not as jammy as a might have expected (indeed not at all), just pure balance and straight lines. My first Head wine and I can't wait to try the premium gear.
