  September 29, 2023 - At first a bit boring, but with air, this showed very well with pure red cherries and strawberries. Very good length too with perfectly balanced maturity.

  May 19, 2023 - In der Nase sehr angenehme aber sehr deutliche Reduktion, mit Luft deutlich Feuerstein inklusive dunklem Rauch. Dazu Schattenmorelle und ätherische Frische wie von Eukalyptus. Im Hintergund etwas Milchschokolade und eine sehr edle alte Holzschatulle.
  
  Am Gaumen ebenfalls sehr frisch, auch hier mit viel saurer Kirsche, sehr frischem Saft, sehr viel Zug, sehr dunkler, pikanter Mineralik. Einerseits deutlich feurig,andererseits paradoxerweise trotzdem frisch-kühl. Die Säurestruktur ist schon allererste Klasse: Sehr fordernd, immer ganz nah an der Bissigkeit, und doch so gut eingebunden und trinkanimierend.
  
  Sehr spannend, sehr lang und legt mit Luft stetig zu.
  
  Großes Kino und das zeigt ganz deutlich: Ja, man muss das wohl kaufen …

  February 19, 2022 - Pnp a second bottle of this,
  really fresh nose, red cassis, sour cherry , meat,
  right from the start very , very lively acid still, elegant flow over the midpalate, showing, predominantly sour cherry, juicy and on the other hand firm red fruit, very fresh style burgundy like, maybe clones from france too?
  needs some air to come more together, a fine bottle here again, long life ahead! **(*-****), around 92(+) potencial

  April 16, 2020 - had some bottles stored at one of my favourite retailers, huh, what a surprise, a full cardboard filled with a dozen Huber GGs, and the best......, paid a year ago or so......., old men and their gap in memory!
  Brought them home and so curiously pnp this Sommerhalde,
  fine smell of ripe red fruit, some hints of the barrel treatment, but all full of finesse, tobacco, nuts and warm tar,
  the palate silky, with good depth, brambleberry, almonds, leather, tobacco, midbodied with a very good flow, elegance and a very supporting acid still, lingering finish, so this is a very young showing, but delicious with some slow ox right now, will improve over the next decade for sure, **(*-****?), 91,92(+) potential,
  distinguishes a lot from the origin Pn from Bourgogne, but this is a very good+ example for german PN!
