April 1, 2022 - Simply divine. Beautiful complexity but soft.
January 25, 2021 - From 720mL dated 2019 02
Bright floral over ripe, fermenting cantaloupe aromas and flavors with a finish of black tea.
On the riper, sweeter side, but light and delicious with great balance
November 1, 2020 - Super smooth sake with notes of kumquat, honeydew melon and pear on the finish. Clean with a full mouth feel along with a finish that goes on and on.
September 25, 2017 - This had a subtle, yet complex bouquet of floral, honeysuckle, saline and herbal aromas. The palate was smooth, creamy and elegant with flavors of honeysuckle, melon, saline, herb and nuts.
February 24, 2017 - I bought this a year ago at Goodys. I guess I should have consumed it right away. I found it kind of florally and slightly oxidized-like. Without much sake experience, I found this had a deep carmelized, floral flavor that was a bit overwhelming for sushi or sipping. It was stored in my cellar at 55F for about one year. This was stamped 10/12 so I wonder if Goodys was sitting on it. My notes actually were very similar to Richard Jennings only I did not find it enjoyable. Served slightly chilled, as suggested on the label.
February 18, 2016 - Delicious clean bright honeysuckle with a hint of citrus grapefruit. Really quite nice
December 26, 2015 - Clean, fragrant, light creamy on the palate, well round and elegant sake but with a serious punch to it and a nice structure if we can use the wine term. Very good and all rounder.

February 26, 2015 - Delicious. Full mouth. Long finish. Really stands out among sakes I've had, admittedly a limited range.

Very elegant Sake, frgrant, aromatic and clean, has this mild, pure yet serious character and it was very enjoyable. Serious quality here.

October 3, 2013 - At Gary's grand tasting...part of a sake flight
Served chilled - really unique wine. Admittedly, I am learning about sake, I found this to be the best of the flight by far. Very smooth, rich mouthfeel. Nose had minerals, floral. Melons, tropical fruit, peach. nuts/almonds on finish.
The wine - it was explained - has a filtration process where they allow it to melt through burlap to purify. maybe this is the source of the purity (real or percieved), that came through with this sake.
