    May 14, 2022 - Excellent wine.

Aromatic nose with cherry, dried red fruit, and mushroom.

Dark cherry core, earthy, licorice, some leather notes, touch of wet leaves, and long lingering finish. Great depth and mostly integrated, but slight tanninic grip.

February 14, 2022 - One of my favourite clarets and one that seems too fly a little under the radar coming from the underrated Côtes de Bourg. Drunk over two nights. Intoxicating aroma. Smooth as silk with rich and rounded dark fruit and soft tannins. I've had a few from the 2006 vintage which seems to be a year that really suits this wine. Perfect place for drinking right now but can also hold

May 13, 2021 - Big nose with deep blue fruit, the Merlot really delivering. Balanced with acidity and tannins playing each other in harmony. This is a good effort, peaking now.

August 21, 2020 - We drank this with a casserole dish with chicken, chorizo, fresh onions, carrots, red wine, thyme, cumin, some form of spicy orange chili that we grow in a pot. So much more structured than the Domaine de l'Aurage that I tried previously from same family (Mitjavile). Peppery, full bodied, good freshness, some pipe tobacco, blackberries, Syrah like in fact. Just excellent, but stern and just starting to open up imho.
