March 10, 2019 - Needs time to be opened, but not decanted. Faint and restrained at first, but opens up showing a very classic Margaux profile. Certainly not fruit driven, there is cedar dusted blackcurrant and some dried flowers. Very fine and elegant with only 12.5%. Feels delicate and fragile but is simply lovely with a piece of lamb.

    June 29, 2017 - Not bad.

August 22, 2015 - On the nose oak, earthy notes and some red toned tart fruit. Medium bodied, acidic, sous-bois, tart red and dark berries with great smooth tannins. Awesome stuff.

December 14, 2013 - Earthy nose, forest floor and some purfumed note. Not too much fruit and mouthfeel is soft. Short, tart finish.

December 28, 2011 - Proved to me yet again that these second wines are very rarely up to scratch. Light nose of damp soil, red fruits and spices although a touch watery on the palate and short finish. Average at best.
