    November 25, 2021 - lLight 24k gold color. Almond and Madagascar Vanilla cookies on the nose. Aggresssive lemon minerals on the attack that dominate pretty much throughout the palate. Thin-bodied in flavor even as the texture is fairly viscous.

    October 23, 2020 - A beautiful and well aged Riesling. Wonderful sweet fruit and a long finish.

    December 2, 2015 - A wonderful and well aged Riesling. Maybe just over the top without it being ruined. Have another bottle and not afraid to leave it another few years. Well matured yellow color. Lots of fruit in both nose and mouth. Little wood and acid almost gone. So it lacks a little bite. Better with food though.

    September 10, 2015 - I agree with Tarrant's comments not the 2 more recent reviews. This wine actually improved over 3 days after opening stored in the fridge with the cork replaced. Indicates to me it can go longer than it's current 10 years

    December 21, 2014 - I agree with SP4388 on the flavors. The wine is pleasant -- but I may have waited too long to drink it.

    July 27, 2014 - Golden color, nose of apricots, butterscotch, gasoline, chalk. Off dry with apple juice and green jolly rancher flavors. Honey on long finish. I'm not sure this has the fruit and acid to go much longer.

    September 8, 2013 - This was delicious and special, screams that even more than the 8 years it has had in bottle would have been even nice, but patience is not a strong suit and this was excellent - Gold, full bodied with a nose of apple, honey, petrol, peach and stone, very complex, integrated and structured, sweet, yet dry on the palate with amazing length, stunning (94 Points).

    November 28, 2012 - A classic Alsatian Riesling, except slightly less concentrated and with a long and spicy finish. wonderful mouthfeel and texture, golden color. A delight with pumpkin sage squash ravioli.

    September 23, 2012 - this is the riesling you want from Alsace, weight without sweetness, perfect at lunch on an early fall day, with soup it danced in the mouth very floral, would have been nice with indian as well.
