Opened up in glass agter 30 minutes
The nose:
Cherry, raspberry, strawberry jam, oak
The palate:
Same on the nose, red Berry like. The oak is fine and soft.
Firm tannins, high acidity.
More ready now then last time, but it does maybe need an hour to open fully up, because it do seems very closed.
I think that in age 10, this is going really kick in

January 21, 2023 - Sangiovese cortado com Merlot e maturado durante 12 meses em barricas de carvalho. Alc. 13.5% vol. Na taça um rubi de intensidade média, ligeiro halo atijolado. Nariz de cedro, especiarias de cozinha, fruta mista madura. Em boca o mesmo perfil, porém com mais nitidez e intensidade, bom balanço entre os taninos firmes e a acidez salivante, corpo médio+ e final médio-longo. Conjunto equilibrado, sápido, versátil para a gastronomia.

April 22, 2022 - This is a good go to Chianti. Not the best in the league but very good value and consistent quality through the years.

April 2, 2022 - Much healthier bottle than last one. All in balance with ripe red and black fruits along with some tuscan spice accents. Held up well 2nd night. Just a bit on the primary side still. Drink or hold.
