January 16, 2024 - Young and very fruit forward but solid structure to let sit a few years.

June 22, 2023 - Consistent with notes below something is off. No TCA, no brett, little VA but just very thin and boring.

June 16, 2023 - Somewhat consistent with my prior note, 14.1% abv like all DDO pn’s, bouquet had alcohol aromas, tasted some what bitter, savory, medium body but thin as never achieved richness as it opened, critics unambiguously loved this wine, maybe I need to readjust my palate:), decent fruit but I know what DDO wines can taste like when they are great, last bottle, 2019 RR wines are very good so onto them.

    April 27, 2023 - Pale Ruby

    Medium (+) Acidity
    Medium Tannin
    High Alcohol
    Medium Bodied
    Medium Finish

    Medium (+) Intensity
    - Stawberry, Raspberry, Red Cherry, Red Plum, Blueberry, Blackberry, Earth, Vanilla, Coconut, Liquorice, Cigar box

A candy fruit bomb right after opening, jammy, ripe, sweet red and black berries, the fruit toned down after some breathing, sweet spices and smoke starts to show, together with some earthiness and minerality. Not an exceptionally complex wine, but got that intensity and concentration going, very enjoyable and easy drinking. Drink or hold.
