June 18, 2021 - Good dark fruit, rich, concentrated. Typical Epoch.

April 17, 2021 - A really nice Mourvedre with just a touch of Grenache to round it out. EPOCH does not make this wine every year and the 2017 was a good choice on their part.

This wine is full bodied with an ABV pushing 16% but its drinking pretty light and right at the moment. Flavors of dark plum and leather stand out with a spicy finish. Needs a good decant to let the oak and tannin settle a bit.

    Patience is rewarded!

November 29, 2020 - Sweet blackberries and cream lead to ripe tannins. More dark fruit on the palate with some scorched earth, and dark chocolate notes. Big wine but stays buoyant and light on its feet considering its heft.
