April 19, 2021 - This pale yellow wine is a blend of 97% Sauvignon Blanc and 3% Sémillon that was 25% barrel fermented and allowed to undergo full malolactic fermentation. Despite the wood and malolactic conversion, it is a vibrantly acidic white with attractive aromas of white peaches, lime zest, honeysuckle and orange creamsicle. Light-bodied and without noticeable alcohol (listed as 14.1%), it delivers flavors in line with the nose and stays solid on the mid-palate. Closing with good length and a whiff of vanilla, this is an excellent Sauvignon Blanc that serves up bright fruit flavors and just the right amount of oak. Drink now-2023.
