March 2, 2024 - Pours just the purple side of burgundy. Strawberry, wet granite, soft floral notes, and cola on the nose. Palate adds hard candy, with a bit of lingering spice on a medium-length finish. Well balanced, but seems like a short-term drinker.

October 18, 2021 - 92, at best. My bottles of this one have been up and down and not near the pro ratings. I am beginning to think damage during shipping or storage.

September 14, 2021 - A first bottle in June disappointed me......drank it a few days after I picked it up from the wine store. It was tight with not a lot going on. This bottle was nearer to the WS rating. The fruit has come out. It is a very good value.

June 15, 2021 - I was disappointed in this bottle. I suspect these bottles should have been allowed to sit for a little longer. Just got from a wine store where they have just been delivered from a wholesaler. I hope to post a more useful review a few weeks down the road.

    May 22, 2021 - Pale ruby.

Nose: Cherry blow pop, green almond, potpourri, white pepper.

Mouth: Pure flavors of pomegranate, raspberry, and blood orange, glide through, supple and lightly sweet, before pulling in threads of cinnamon, dried orange peel, kirsch, tarragon, and bitter almond on the extended midpalate. These undergird the fruit and keep firing into a long, long finish tinged with a hit of white pepper for good measure.

Overall: From a technical perspective, practically everything is here - shows absolutely gorgeous purity of fruit and complexity of character throughout. Palate action is also fabulous, with a seamless segue from upfront fruit to more structured elements in the middle, before everything echoes wonderfully on the endless finish. A bit of an atypical style for pinot noir, (and the flavors aren't always entirely complimentary) but this qualifies as a showstopper. Drink now - 2033.

    96.
