    October 8, 2023 - Deep purple colour.
Smooth, medium bodied with taste of plums, blackberries and subtle hint of oat - well integrated. Not a bit jammy or harsh, as I find many Malbec from Argentina can be.

October 25, 2022 - Ordered off a list on a business trip to Atlanta.

This is very drinkable right now. I think my palate is the opposite of most Malbec drinkers in the US, though. To wit, I didn't find this "jammy" in the least; and to me that is a GOOD THING!

Pours a very Malbec-ish deep purple. Ripe berries and ripe plums - but again, not jammy, not even over ripe. Chalk, cocoa powder, smoked wood and a hint of vanilla. The oak is very well integrated on this. Medium body with medium - tannin which shows typicity to me. My biggest complaint is that the flavors are a tad muted. Drink now!

Perfectly acceptable pairing with a grilled skirt steak.

October 21, 2021 - I am usually a fan of Susana Balbo Malbec but this bottle was just OK. The fruit lacked precision and definition, giving a muddled impression.

October 17, 2020 - Drank at 60 degrees F. Super tight with overwhelming tannins. Not pleasurable at all. Will let it sit for another day and try it again tomorrow.

January 16, 2020 - Enjoyable and excellent QPR Argentinan Malbec, 94% Malbec and 6% Cab Sauv. On the palate blackberry, plum, blueberry, and vanilla. A young Malbec and a little on the sweet side. Paired nicely with grilled steaks.

September 20, 2019 - 13.9% alcohol, appears to be real cork, medium-weight foil; 5% is Petit Verdot; imported by Folio Fine Wine Partners, the Michael Mondavi Family, Napa, CA; grown at 1250 meters at Altamira, Uco Valley, Mendoza (Altamira Argentina reminiscent of its Iberian namesake, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its 36,000 year old prehistoric cave drawings); the very description of the circumstances of this wine would lead you to believe that it might represent something special -- and it delivers; fast legs, dark cave red, nose of alcohol, stone fruit, apples; opened, stored in the fridge for 18 hours and tasted at approximately 14 degrees C; full-bodied notes of earth, pepper, apples, minerals, trace of mint, oregano; tannins predominate to some extent over sweetness and minerality, which suggests that more ageing would be in order; medium finish with trace of Granny Smith apples, maybe even caramel; pair with grilled bison steak medium rare, or with fatty Pacific cold-water fish, like Chilean sea bass
