August 14, 2022 - Bouquet was bland. Basic structure (not a bad thing, at least it had some), smooth tannins, balanced medium body. Flavors of damp forest floor, cedar, cherries, baking spice, tobacco, and hints of cranberry and cigar box. Spice and vanilla on the medium-long finish. I would give this winery another chance, but this release was nothing special.

March 28, 2022 - Simply Ok once again A Total Wine - Winery Direct HYPED wine that "WE JUST HAD TO TRY" ... well I had the 2017 and this one didn't do much better. No nose to speak off, medium in color, no tannins an just a mouthful of chalk. Palatable easy drinking sure but expect more when we are in this moderate drinking every day price range.
