January 19, 2019 - Well balanced, full body. I tasted some berries and it was a bit earthy. Watch out for sediment, it will need to be filtered

  • macaujames Likes this wine: 88 points

October 29, 2016 - Has typical aromas of dusty gravel infused blackcurrants, lead pencil, flowers, plums and leather. Very elegant, balanced and layered with very good length. A stylish wine. Needs 2 hours aeration to be at its best.

August 6, 2013 - nose of cassis and vanilla. really approachable now. no need to wait. tannins are a decent counterpoint to rich warm fruit, but not overpowering. tastes like a napa cab

June 15, 2012 - Wine dinner (O Chateau, Rue J-J Rousseau, 1er arrondissement, Paris): Man this wine is drinking so well right now. This has depth and nuance of bottle age at this point. Major viscosity and length with chewy tannins. Deep fruit, leather, earth - getting a lot out of this one.
