  February 17, 2021 - very pleasant pinot noir, slow opening to reveal new, complex aromas and flavors throughout the evening. a real treat for a bourgogne-level appellation from this reputed winemaker

  November 17, 2020 - Enjoyed over 5 hours, this is quite the dark, brooding behemoth which took several hours to unfold, but it’s all there: dark fruits, almost inky black, initially pomegranate then dark cherries, confection, spice, complex floral perfumes, dark earth, BBQ’d meats, graphite. Masculine in terms of aromatic and flavour profile but very feminine in terms of harmonious mouthfeel and acidity, understated tannins. I think one to hide away a little longer?

  November 13, 2020 - The wine is garnet to purple and clearly shows its youth. It is tart and mildly tannic and brimming with enthusiasm. A clear sparkle in the eye, showing its cheeky youthful exuberance.
  
  N: cranberry, blackberry, black currant, washed river rocks and rosewater.
  P: strawberry, blueberry, cranberry, raspberry and red currant.
  The body is medium and the youthful wine is juicy, fresh with medium length and medium / high acidity.
