June 18, 2020 - Clearly the lesser of the 3 primitivo wines from Chiaromonte I recently purchased. Sweeter, less balanced, but still enough dark fruit and flowers. It is from quite mature grapes, I think, even if there are some some greenish twitches. This means it is not fully integrated. Certainly some more acids would be very beneficial. Sounds maybe a bit negative now, but it can certainly rival most of the primitivos from Puglia.
