August 30, 2021 - Very light red. Mixed fresh red berries on the nose with a hint of dill (not over-the-top like some Riojas). Very fresh raspberries and some earthiness on the palate. With more air I get black cherries, cherry liquor and cherry cola. Solid acid. This has plenty of years left, interested to see where it goes.

August 5, 2021 - New winery for me from WB day. Great value. Great taste. even better notes/less fruit on the second day
The wine looks garnet colored. There is no sediment in the bottle.

Could go 2 ish years more and still drink great, but not needed

July 17, 2021 - Dark cherry, spice, sandalwood, some tobacco, mineral and stone notes. Good fruit intensity balanced with fine tannins and medium acid. Drinking well now, but good structure and can certainly go a few more years. New winery to me, but definitely worth seeking out. They seem to release late so the wines already have some bottle age. Really great value at $25. Hope to pick up more and will sit on them a few years.

June 12, 2021 - Very nice, well balanced, at 6 years old this has a certain mellowness to it with some underlying intensity. Dark fruited, touch of baking spice, sandalwood, crushed rocks, and maybe some leather / shiitake mushroom. Fruit is well integrated, and I see this having several years to get more complex. At the same time, the wine is restrained, well balanced, and well structured with limited tannins and plenty of acidity.

Certainly worth the tariff and certainly something I’d drink again. Great wine.
