  May 28, 2023 - Blueberries, strawberries, and a note of sage on the aroma. Blueberries, strawberries, licorice root on the palate. Acidity is medium. Tannins are high with a fine grit character that drys out the mouth. Mouthfeel is full with a silky mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very pleasant CDP.

  April 26, 2023 - Ordered a Beaucastel off a restaurant menu where the vintage wasn't indicated and shocked to have this brought to the table. Not decanted.
  
  Modest bricking on the edges. Red cherry, kirsch on the nose; black fruit dominant but more than enough structure to keep this interesting. Tar, graphite and leather add layering and more interest. This is in its prime window.

  April 25, 2023 - Excellent showing, lots of clean black and red fruit here with no sign of brett/other funk, more mature savoury and herbal accents on the nose, and a palate presence that's big but very well balanced with surprising acidity beneath the richness.

  April 24, 2023 - PNP. Nose of kirsch, seaweed and spicy garrigue. Savory palate, slightly salty with a vein of sweet fruit and tons of complexity and nuance. Mildly Clenched fruit tannins show on the medium length finish. For my palate a CdP that is right in my wheelhouse and tonight was the perfect wine to pair with roast chicken and vegetables with Provençal herbs.

  April 16, 2023 - Similar to other recent CT tasting notes. Showing no signs of fading as there was plenty of fruit. Smooth tannins.
