April 1, 2019 - Drank from Double-Magnum, feally nice and liked by guests. Ideally to drink now
January 13, 2018 - Medium dark red in color. Mild fruit, a bit thin compared to its stronger acidity and tannin. Not particularly enjoyable but not bad. Drinking at its peak now or just past it.
May 31, 2017 - This second bottle drunk with ribeye steak, while still tannic and darkly flavored, gave a much better showing of black and blue fruits.
May 28, 2017 - Pleasant nose. Berry, coffee, chocolate flavors. Medium body, low acid, chalky tannins. Very nice finish. At $29 from Garagiste this wine is not a terrific bargain, but certainly enjoyable.
June 15, 2016 - Reached it's prime drinking window. Great stuff!
August 22, 2015 - After a disappointing Terre Brune 2006 I served this one as compensation for my guests. Nice stuff: Ripe berries, coconut, chocolate.
If you're thinking about opening one of these, probably I'd wait one or two more years.
July 3, 2015 - From memory. Deep garnet. Pleasant nose of black fruit, forest, and dark earth. The palate is mature and concentrated, leaning more towards tannic than fruity.
December 21, 2012 - Expressive buttery caramel bouquet. Nice red & blue fruits - seems like its probably in its peak window - start popping these now. Not a brilliant QPR at around $30, but an above average one.
January 4, 2010 - Nice Bordeaux. Paired with a meatloaf and some parsley potatoes. Not much on the nose and no fruit, but the finish hits you pleasantly in the back of the mouth. Nice wine for the price. Would pair well with almost anything and drinks very well by itself.pp
October 31, 2009 - Drank over a few hours. Still harsh and tannic - give this one an extended decant or let it sit. Upward potential though.
