Community Tasting Notes 4

February 1, 2009 - Seemed a little tighter than the last bottle. I picked up much less of the savory--sage,nutmeg, than the previous bottle. Great fruit, nice balance. Did not notice the alcohol--15.5 on the lable.

November 29, 2008 - Finished 3rd in a stellar lineup of 15 California merlots, including multiple Pride bottlings and Pahlmeyer. The spiciness, especially a nutmeg note made it stand out. Nicely structured. Lost its trademark spice the next day and didn't show much special.

March 13, 2008 - Favorite QPR from our favorite producer. So much good stuff going on here. Nice red fruit flavors with a good mouth feel.
