August 29, 2022 - A nice, brisk, refreshing rose. Has fading red fruit on the palate, with hints of watermelon and cranberry, caressed by a brisk minerality.
One thing I noticed was the wine seems a little disjointed. I'm not sure whether its entering an awkward phase or is declining.
I wish I had this bottle closer to release. Still enjoyable right now though.
July 17, 2022 - Fruit is fading…
May 8, 2022 - Time to drink these.
July 27, 2021 - Same as previous note. A really good rosato and excellent QPR.
May 25, 2021 - Terrific. Lovely orangey color. Can use a quick decant to dissipate the frizzante. Fairly complex. Glad I have more.
November 16, 2020 - Almost exactly the same as the last bottle and equally exemplary. I need to have this around all the time.
October 8, 2020 - This is a dense, structured rosé with a real savory, onion skin edge to the fresh berry fruit and flowers. A strong mineral underpinning shapes the flavors and frames the wine very well. Held up perfectly over about 5 days in the fridge. We didn't drink as much rosé as we have in the past but this one will be consistently in our rotation.
August 26, 2020 - I just had glasses of the '19 Pibarnon and '19 Boulay rose'. This wine is also quite yummy on a hot Summer's day. I bought a case of this, but it won't hang around very long.
August 15, 2020 - My first time trying a wine by this producer.
Not unduly complex, but this does go down pretty easy - this has Summer Sipper written all over it. Tart fruit on the palate, with a melon note on the nose. Very likable.
August 10, 2020 - Very pleasant Nebbiolo rose, watermelon in the flavor profile. Good weight. Fruit forward for sure but with balance, enough that it held on against a tomato-centric gazpacho.
