Dark fruit (strong cherry, black cherry), strong spice, strong floral/ rose, bright - nice acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.
June 13, 2019 - Dark fruit (cherry, blueberry, slight plum), nice spice, floral/ rose. Really enjoyable.
December 9, 2016 - Tried again - still 5 bottles left - same as tasting note from 2014 - but more intensive - nose now with tobacco - flavor liquorous - finish never ending - chapeau
August 22, 2016 - Drank in poor glasses, so no real notes. It tasted lovely, but hard to get at the real wine. So, I'll wait for the next bottle and make sure when I'm visiting a friend that I have good glasses with me.
August 25, 2015 - Definitely moving up. Takes at least an hour to open. Classic light tar and roses on the nose. Palate is medium body with spice, leather and light tar notes and big nebbiolo fruit. There is a nice hit of acidity. Great balance. Tannins kick in near end, but still have a nice kick. Lots of life ahead.

December 23, 2014 - Still young. Takes about an hour to open. Classic light tar and roses on the nose. Palate is medium body with leathery and light tar notes and significant nebbiolo fruit. The fruit is countered by a nice hit of acidity. Balanced overall. Tannins kick in near end, but are moderate but still have a nice kick. Delicious. Despite that these notes are essentially the same as 3 years ago, I think we need to wait another few years to see this one blossom, possibly into the 94 range.
