October 23, 2023 - A bright and cheerful wine, a bit fruit-forward, with enough acidity to keep things interesting. A welcome dinner guest.

January 23, 2023 - On Day 3: Fresh cherry, floral, nutmeg, dried herbs, and dusty earth. Med- body, med acidity, med+ tannins, but rather refined, to provide a lengthy finish. From opening until now, while it benefitted from some air, it never felt out of place. Very easy to drink yet still quite interesting. Excited to try the other bottlings I have, albeit from 2019.

January 22, 2023 - Floral, red cherry, cedar, medium body, elegant. Doesn't have the depth of her other bottlings but a great QPR and introduction to the style

September 26, 2022 - Great unfiltered, low intervention SG. Give it some time to rest after opening, then it becomes quite elegant and typical.

April 10, 2022 - Nothing to add to the previous few TNs, which capture the wine well. Excellent and a steal just under $20 USD on close-out.

September 28, 2021 - Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. 95% Sangiovese & 5% Colorino. Organic. M (-) ruby with a garnet hue. Unfined, unfiltered. Ripe red cherry, candied berries, red roses, herbs. Just a hint of spice from 12 mos in very large Slavonian and Austrian oak casks. Dry, with fresh fruit at a perfect level of ripeness, consistent with the nose. M (+) acidity, M tannins and M alcohol (13%). M body, med flavor intensity and length, with a juicy yet balsamic finish. Very nicely balanced and very drinkable. Drink now, or over the next few years.
