October 10, 2020 - Encore tellement frais ! 94+

June 4, 2020 - My last bottle from a 6-pack, all prior bottles were so-so. However, this bottle is very nice, mostly black fruit dominant, but with none of the meaty Hermitage characteristics I crave (maybe due to hot vintage?). Still, very nice.

May 19, 2020 - Stored in a cold cellar since purchase. Brick red deep colour. Slightly hot nose. Full rich deep. Good balance. More acidity than expected. Not flabby.
Better than expected considering summer in 2003.Drink soon.

April 14, 2020 - No flaws. Dark brick red.Nose a bit reductive and needed a bit of time in the glass. Blowsy and dense. Heavy and little elegance. OK but not typical.

March 3, 2020 - Heavy in sediment; rich and dark. Lots of secondary. Wasn’t the crowd pleaser. A very hot vintage.

    (E. Guigal Hermitage) Garnet with a brownish rim. Aromas of smoky bacon, forest floor, leather, garrigue, and white pepper, with redcurrant and blackberry fruit in the background. Smooth texture, demonstrating well-integrated tannins and acidity. Complex finish emphasizes the earthy minerality. Terroir: Hermitage
