    September 28, 2019 - Wow,
almost hard to describe, and very surprising.
tucked away a bottle more or less as a fun experiment to see what would happen with time.
Nose with sherry and hay, apples, nuts , sweet honey, touch of stones, some turpentine (not in a bad way though) a bit of ocean and sea shells.
A bit like an oak aged and oxidative Champagne mixed with sherry.
    Very complex and interesting.
Opens up given time, with multiple layers.
    Palate is also very special.
Dry Sherry, but with a good and high acidity present.
    Minerals, honey and mature apples.
Hard to describe this wine, a lot of fun stuff is going on.
Surprise, I would have guessed that this was way over time, but not. (I did claim this 5+ years ago)
    Fun wine!
    Quite good even.

Lite pepprigt avslut.

September 25, 2014 - Ahh, something has happened since my last bottle, about a year ago.
I believed these bottles was over the top, but perhaps I was wrong?
This particular bottle displayed a rather fine and intriguing nose, rather like a fine Champagne actually?
    Very nice.
The palate showed a somewhat peppery and creamy fat fruit profile.

October 26, 2013 - Ok, but I still believe that these bottles are past prime and on their way down.
Still, some crispiness and sweet fruit that keeps it drinkable.

(Antinori Bolgheri Vermentino) #2; COLOR-medium golden; NOSE-inside of a rubber glove; a little sulfur match action; PALATE-high acid; good fruit; very floral which I like quite a bit; Iris & dandelions; this is my kind of wine; very rustic; very complex and mineral drive w/ floral subtleties; no fake sugars; just terroir; this is just real; WS-86; GV-90
