January 6, 2024 - Haven't scored a '19 yet but, wow.....very nice. Light yellow in the glass. Nose notes of pretty standard citrus, cream. The palate is where this one shines.....loads of creamy goodness. A hint of vanilla/butterscotch and more citrus. Nice weight on the mouth and just the right touch of oak, nothing crazy but certainly creamy....drinks above its price point for me.

October 20, 2023 - Powerfully built fine and mineral Chardonnay, pressed with whole clusters, aged for 9 months in FR oak, 27% new. Medium lemon colour. Medium intensity complex aroma of smoky lemons, pears, dried peaches, herbs, yellow plums. Medium+ body, feels muscular and concentrated in harmonious balance with juicy and crisp texture, citrus fruit salty mineral and toasted flavours, zesty well integrated medium+ acidity.

February 12, 2023 - At Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Dubai for Pete’s birthday celebration. A mid-ground Chardonnay somewhere between a very linear Bourgogne Blanc and a richer, Chassagne-Montrachet-style wine. I matched it with halibut, charred chicory and green sauce, and they went pretty well together.

Such a lovely bracing flavorful wine. Longish finish. Linear. Loads of lemon zest. Steely. Great price. Case worthy.
