July 31, 2009 - My first ever Canadian Pinot. I liked this - very delicate, clear colour. Lovely classic nose of sour cherries and damp earth. In the mouth this is whispy and light with a lovely freshness to it. Very good.

July 14, 2008 - Beautiful nose of cherries, pomengranate, and limestone. Very delicate mouthfeel, with ample fruit that is subtly introduced but builds to a gentle crescendo. Quite Burgundian in its structure.. more elegant than the Village Reserve (which is also very good). An extremely well made wine.

April 4, 2008 - Perfume, floral and cherries on the nose. Med body, lovely cherry fruit and floral notes. Very feminine and lighter style pinot. Could pass as a Chambolle-Musignyin a blind tasting. One of the better Canadian Pinots I've had.

August 24, 2007 - Clear medium ruby red. With a clear rim. Nice clean and fresh nose of cherries, rose and slight funk (Wet earth). Nice smooth body of fruits & caramel with a touch of oakyness. Fresh acidity, smooth tannins and a medium plus length .

March 12, 2007 - Not bad for a first timer! You can definately tell that attention to quality was a priority with this wine. All the finer notes are evident, the only thing it's lacking is terroir. But that doesn't happen over night, or in a first vintage. On the up side, the wine showed great qualities of a young pinot with fresh cherries on the nose and a hint of vanilla. It was fairly light-bodied with tart cherry flavours but not so short on the finish. With a little bottle time this one could improve in 3-4 years. He's hoping the future vintages maintain the quality and improve over time.
