  At first this smelled slightly sherried but it blew off quickly. The color is dark yellow but certainly not a golden, oxidized color. Perfumed nose of lime blossoms, lemon, a hint of oak, and minerals. Tons of acidity on the palate. Ample acidity and solid fruit. I'd drink this soon if you have it because it's at its peak. Glad to see it isn't premoxed. ***

  July 27, 2008 - Pineapple, peach, green bean/vegetative on the nose, light to medium bouquet, but not very chardonnay-like IMO. Drinks much bigger and like a old world Chard. Strong Lemon, floral, flint, oak on the palate with a long lemon and flint finish. Very enjoyable and high quality even though I'm not a big chardonnay fan. Fine by itself, but would pair well with light cheeses, apps, and light to medium dishes. Will recommend and definitely buy again. Cheers!
