September 21, 2021 - So much character!! Not a powerhouse, but there is strong acidity and energy in the wine; Possibly the most burgundian pinot I’ve experienced from Oregon. It is definitely still a new world wine, but the abundant fruit is well balanced against herbal, earth and spice notes with minimal oak, all framed by the racy acidity and well integrated tannins. Simply awesome stuff that seems ready to cellar for a decade or more.

    Light to medium body
Cherry notes ? Wife notes a spice of jolly rancher at the back of the throat? Menthol or similar note
Bottom line tasty. Nice complexity. Would buy again and reccomend

February 18, 2021 - Pop and poured. Drunk over three nights.

On the nose, forest berries more than cherry fruit and pretty spice notes. On the palate, there's lovely sap and density with lift and grace. It's fresh and has a degree of clarity that I really like. More forest berry and cherry fruit, Vosne like spice and some subtle cola notes on the palate. Well balanced acidity adds freshness and a sense of power without weight. Overall this is a lovely, well made, elegant pinot delivered in an approachable, appealing, yet deceptively complex mode. Finishes with lovely spice and cooling basil notes. This held up for three days being open, with the third day being the best. My first time with is producer. I quite like this.
