    July 3, 2023 - Enjoyable, but not a re-buy.

September 20, 2022 - Fine but fairly nondescript albarino. Short finish.

    May 11, 2022 - Good. Has been a go-to Albarino.
Paired with Sicilian style tuna and arancini which was good but maybe not the best pairing. Refreshing with a little more color than expected at this age and some melon notes. I've also always come away with a touch of petroleum with these, not at all unenjoyable.

July 17, 2021 - Not a detailed review - overall this is a middle of the road Albarino. Has a bit of sweetness to it and will make it a big hit in a mixed crowd. Given that I can get better Albarinos for 6-7 bucks - the QPR is not there for this wine.

    June 11, 2021 - Impulse Purchase @ Costco. 12.5% abv - $11
Served @ 10c/50f with Breaded Cod, Fries & Caprese salad. Pale yellow in the glass, citrus on the nose; lemon/lime with green apple prevalent. A little effervescent zip on the palate; lighter-bodied, fruity, yet crisp with prominent acidity refreshing the palate. Short to medium finish.

I had a bottle of 2018 Dobson Sonoma Coast (CA) Albariño ($15 – 90 Pts) that I had opened for an informal taste comparison. The color of the wine was the same, no differences were distinguishable. However, there seemed to be some stylistic differences, sort of like 'Old World' contrasted with 'New World' versions. The Dobson was not as astringent and seemed a little softer in comparison, with more prominent apricot and honeysuckle notes. There was no 'zip' apparent in the Dobson but it seemed a little smoother with a rounder feel in the mouth and had a nice, longer, minerally finish.
