July 4, 2021 - nice crushable and chillable red. great for summer!

  • viniferatu Likes this wine:

June 4, 2021 - Juicy, leafy and floral.... damp deciduous forest, plum, blackberry, elderberry, violets, spicy lees... tangy and juicy, lots of blue and purple fruits, relatively straightforward, lots of fun

June 2, 2020 - Medium bodied, a more serious take on glou glou style. Plush concentrated nose of currant, purple fruit, and hints of cooked salmon fat. Switched glasses to be sure of that last bit. Palate is properly velvety, the physicality of this wine is almost its strongest point. Appropriately firm tannins frame tight purple fruit, violets, wood, grape skin. Cinsault-like in many ways.

Despite being in a clear Riesling bottle that screams "drink now", it would do well with a few years to unfurl. Or drink now!
