December 11, 2023 - Very Good++
A joy to drink and this last bottle was probably the best of the handful I'd purchased. Similar to my Oct. 2021 TN and absolutely not at all overripe. On the deeper end of the spectrum, but solid Chianti Classico and, of course, a solid choice for the table (this time a simple eggplant and mushroom red sauce pasta).

September 8, 2023 - Similar notes to before but with greater emphasis of funk and earth on the nose. Definite secondary aromas that blow off after an hour or so. Tannins are fully resolved. Drink soon.

March 23, 2023 - So good. It developed nicely in the glass, moving from earth notes and tighter tannins to silky tannins and lovely cherry notes and tobacco.

January 1, 2023 - Medium ruby with high intensity notes of tea and oak.
Dry, high acidity, medium tannin, medium body and high alcohol.
Tea and oak again on the palate with some black fruit thrown in creating a medium finish.
Could have been improved with a bit better balance which may have emerged with some additional aging along with some tertiaries. Overall very good to outstanding. -
