  Elegant on the palate smooth with just enough grip. Flavours follow the nose. Lingering black tea cassis and herb finish. Has improved with age. Will try and hold my last bottle for five years.

Medium purple; mature red fruits, prominent tobacco, bit of oak, that follow on the palate; good mouthfeel. We think Merlot can be an Okanagan highlight, but this was not a good example: tobacco was a problem. Would not buy again.
