    November 23, 2017 - drink it up

November 18, 2010 - Pop & pour. A bit stewed and faded, this has seen better days. Some initial funk that made me think of TCA, but that blew off after an hour or so. Fruit is very stewed and earthy tobacco notes are more prominent. Not real impressed, but this is probably several years past peak drinking.

January 17, 2009 - At this stage its a basic syrah with nothing leaving a positive or negative impression. Just ho-um & very simple flavors of red fruit, little structure, and decent acidity.

January 31, 2008 - Good food wine with nice acidity and good structure. Bacon fat, pepper and subtle plum on nose. Similar palate with nice balance. Fruit is in background but certainly present. A quite pleasant wine and worth the $20 I paid from the winery.

January 3, 2008 - No tasting notes recorded, but overall impression was average. Not nearly as rich as when I had it three years ago, this one seemed to have declined somewhat quickly.
