April 1, 2023 - A last bottle, kept for 2 more years after the last one. A bit better than before (and better with food) but very ordinary and anonymous - lacking any real interest. My wife thought more of it hence 86.

May 4, 2022 - I like good value priced wines and this is one. Light notes of orange, pear, grapefruit. Easy and pleasing on a spring/summer day.

April 24, 2022 - Very good value! The nose has citrus, apple, and a hint of pineapple. The palate follows the nose. An excellent table wine (lacks some of the complexity of its pricier brethren) but solid. Unoaked (my preferred style). Medium-light body. 13% ABV.

December 30, 2021 - I have nothing to add to my earlier note, I’m afraid. I gave it time to warm and open (and it did, just a bit) but I still find this ordinary, bland, mass-market stuff. Slightly better next day (overnight in fridge) but I won’t buy more.

December 13, 2021 - Light lemon yellow color; lemon gelee, lemon cream, light vanilla nose; tasty, poised, lemon cream, lemon gelee palate with good balancing acidity; medium-plus finish (13% alcohol; Diam 5 cork) 90+ points

October 23, 2021 - A little funk on the nose, but nevertheless enjoyable with chicken. Sunny and easy going. Good value.

July 1, 2021 - I have tasted this wine over many years and it is normally pretty reliable, despite being an obviously very large volume production. Not so sure this time. Some fragrance on the nose. Citrus on the palate with hints of pear and more ‘tropical’ fruits but a bit flat and bland for me. I think there are Macons at this price point with more character. This is easy drinking and slips down but is really not memorable.
A couple of hours after opening and with food (grilled white fish with Jersey potatoes) it improved. My wife liked it. I have raised my score a little.
A second bottle a couple of days later was OK but no more than that. Mass-market Macon with limited character to my palate. 86-

June 15, 2021 - A very clean, oak-free Mâcon with a touch of complexity from the malolactic. Better than I expected.
