November 10, 2021 - Tasted at the Chateau. Youthful red cherry fruit, quite fragrant. Medium bodied, light, fine tannin, quite long, fresh. Crunchy red fruit. Difficult to judge. (76% CS, 19% M, 3: PV, 2% CF)

January 27, 2021 - damp soil, tobacco, cassis, leather, black currant, cedar, blackberry, oak spice and dried red cherries.

Freshness on the palate, the fruit is rich and very much alive although maturing faster than the 09 flagship. has the delicateness and finesse though. pretty nice wine that honestly is not too far off the primary bottling

August 1, 2020 - Pavillon Rouge de Château Margaux, Margaux AOC (76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. 93-94/100 vvPunkte vvWine.ch

June 13, 2020 - Flowers, cherries and plums are the first things you notice before you get into all that silky, elegant, refined layers of ripe red, sweet, lifted fruits. Medium-bodied, elegant, luscious and fresh, this is a gorgeous Pavillon Rouge that is a scaled-down version of Chateau Margaux. The wine blends 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, reaching 14.2% alcohol. 93-95 Pts
