September 16, 2012 - Average taste, heavy sediment, and losing color. Not very fragrant, but opened in an hour, okay but obviously past its drink window. Give it time to breath and it will get its legs.

November 25, 2009 - Thought it held up pretty well. For all the "past prime" reviews I was worried -- had a bottle with beef stew and was a great pairing. Nice spice, very mellow on the tannins, medium body and highly drinkable.
