April 1, 2024 - The wine is still delicious, but I think the wine was at its apogee two years ago. The wine is not quite as aromatic, as it was two years ago. The wine is still juicy with red fruits of cranberry and raspberry. I would drink up, if you have any bottles.

September 14, 2022 - Off a restaurant list at lunch in Burlington. Red fruits, wine jellies, and a bit of soil accented by a bit of VA and a touch of brett. Neither was a dealbreaker, but this wasn’t quite squeaky clean. Not sure where it’s going, tbh, but it was tasty enough and very well priced. Not sure I’d scour the world (or wine-searcher) for another bottle.

July 4, 2022 - Wow, this has improved considerably since I last tasted this a year and a half ago. The nose is deep with red fruits, cranberry and raspberry, black tea, and a bit of Brett. The Brett adds just the right accent that I enjoy in a cru Beaujolais. The palate is all cranberries and raspberries with an absolute silky finish. The acidity has tamed down from my last bottle and is pith perfect. Enjoying while my ribs finish on the big green egg.

January 8, 2021 - Medium purple/ruby appearance. Brett mostly burned off after 45 minutes showing red fruits and a rosy, floral nose. Medium body. Very high acid and more red fruit, tart cranberries and blackberries on the palate. Incredibly smooth finish. Would love to taste this after a day but this one will be gone well before then. Delicious and highly drinkable.

December 7, 2020 - I mistakenly opened this wine. I intended to open another cru Beaujolais, the 2015 Charly Thevenet Régnié Grain & Granit. I felt that the Foillard is still primary, juicy red fruit, raspberries in particular. This is my first time with this Foillard vineyard, though I have tasted his other Morgon bottlings. I enjoyed this, but I prefer the other bottlings. Of course, in another year that could all change
