December 31, 2023 - Interesting but for me consistently this agrapart is more appealing that the Venus of the very same vintage. Maybe the latter needs more time in bottle. The Avizoise is very appealing really, clear bread and nice lingering aftertaste. Lovely Champagne

November 15, 2023 - A very friendly and surprisingly open bottle of bubbles, with superb balance and texture, this is an Agrapart that impresses for its Norwich Terrier “happier-to-know-ya kind of attitude.” Nothing out of place; dedicated to the cause and loyal to its consumer; showing its personality without reservation. Lemon and brioche at its core, with an underlying minerality that provides lift. This was just missing that added spark and verve that other Champagne at the table had going for them (13 Cedric Bouchard Bechalin, 13 Dom, 12 Churchill). This Agrapart was keep-truckin’-along calm and collected (not boring) and, if anything, was just a victim of its competition. No need to wait on these, but can easily cruise for 5-7+ years.

November 11, 2023 - Duck, duck, abortion!; 11/11/2023-11/17/2023: Light mix of honey and hay on the nose, with a soft touch of fruits. Very airy and fresh.

Palate showed the same characteristics as the nose with good hay and bitterness of minerals with a gentle spritz of fruits. Fresh yeastiness, but more like dough before it is baked into bread. There’s a strong mineral note on the mid to end palate which I wish would have softened up a bit, but it was a bit hard and pronounced.

November 11, 2023 - When drinking so many champagnes side by side, it is hard not to start ranking them in your head. On its own, this wine would have been incredible and that is the difficulty of such tastings. This wine sort of took a back seat this evening. This wine got better and better as the evening progressed, so it wouldn't surprise me if this wine is going to shine beautifully in the next 5-10 years.

October 18, 2023 - Great depth, complexity. Pretty intense on the acid at the moment though, would like to see this again with a few years more age.

June 27, 2022 - outstanding champagne - strikes good balance between vinous-ness and bubbles. Complex with real energy and cut, aromas of west stones and citrus. Drinking well but no rush either.

May 23, 2022 - Ramen post Tyrrell's: D/g 2020. Pear, apple, orange and smoke on the nose. Juicy on the palate, but has the acid cut to counter the fruit power. Nice control and verve.

February 27, 2021 - Had the 2012 and 2013 before. 2014 was disgorged in may 2020 w 3gr/l dosage. Still young with notes of green apple, citrus oil, chalk, nutty, slight bread, stone. Beautiful again, precise, racy, ripe fruit, balanced, concentrated, and opening up only after 15-20 minutes.Masterpiece for BdB!

As always spicy, unique, balanced with a lot of salinity and power. The herbal notes are really special. 93
