May 12, 2023 - Not as good as I remember during the tasting in October, could be it was PNP with no decant. My next bottle, I will make sure to give it more air.
October 1, 2022 - Wunderbar
October 18, 2021 - Dark plum color, alcohol comes through fairly strongly, notes of dirt and fritos
September 25, 2021 - Brooding black cherry and warm baking spice. Medium acidity. Silky tannins. Long finish. Wow this is good. It's big. Give it a little air and you're off to the race. Not as elegant as the 2011.
February 7, 2021 - Exceptional multi-layered Pinot. Wonderful day 1 - exceptional day 2. Would acquire more at the chance.
November 17, 2019 - Vintners' Estate Tasting, nose of sweet and sour fruit, cigar, slate, earth, spring flowers, very floral, typical Carneros nose, same on the palate, medium/big body, very tasty, mouth filling fruit, slightly fruit forward, needs a year or two to peak, and a long, flavorful finish.
July 27, 2018 - IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Tasting pour. Medium red color. We both really liked this, ripe berries, but so deeply earthy and damp, balsamic, sappy red berries, but not at all heavy, delicious stuff. 91+ to 92pts.
