June 25, 2022 - 3rd/4th bottle of this in a row that was spoiled. Tasted like sugary soda. Disappointed.
March 10, 2022 - Sweet side of demisec, honey, apricot, ending with moderately long finish of lime pith and honeysuckle. Sweet slightly overbalances the acidity.
April 14, 2021 - Purchased this wine for an on-line wine-tasting class. Now, I remember why I liked CB years ago. I just don't get too many CB offers (sale items) from my usual wine sources and haven't gone looking for CB. We drink lots of German Riesling instead. In this bottle, there is lots of food-friendly acidity along with orchard and tropical fruits. Flowers, almonds, and herbs also make an appearance. Only bought one bottle, but I can see this wine improving with some bottle age.
March 31, 2021 - Pleasant aromas of white flowers, melon, and stone fruit. Tastes of peach, apricot, pineapple, and honeysuckle. Medium to full bodied.
