March 23, 2023 - I really liked Patty's 2006s in their youth, but am surprised how well this has held up. This has the firm backbone I expect from Anden, but with charming and fleshy fruit, and an underlying brightness. Very good overall.

February 11, 2018 - Hard to believe this was 12 years old. Great structure, fruit just fading, lovely nose, lighter finish than when young. So glad I found these hiding in the cellar! RIP Patty Green.

August 15, 2015 - The character of this wine reflects the vintage ... more fleshy, rich, ripe and juicy than a typical Oregon pinot. Red cherry and spice with a touch of earth and smoke. Not a fruit bomb, but certainly more fruit-forward than is typical for PG wines. Big, soft and lush on the palate with nice depth and great balance. Just a bit straightforward, but neither simple or boring. Satisfying, lengthy finish. Seamless and very easy to drink. A touch of tea color in the meniscus, but otherwise not showing its age.

May 29, 2013 - Lovely juicy pinot. It's got great bright red fruit across the middle and a very slight bite at the back end. Overall quite nice, very enjoyable. The bite still detracts from the overall score, but the midpalate is very enjoyable.

May 14, 2012 - Consistent with last bottle. Could not get over the bubbles. That's like the fourth PG with this issue (Anden, Ana's, Bonshaw). Ugh!

(Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Anden Vineyard”) Single Vineyard Patty Green Dear Friends, I don’t have the ability to do any research on these at the moment - I’m sitting in the stairwell of a loft building in NoHo tasting an eccentric Italian apperativo with Joe Dressner - we’ve escaped the day two clean up from his tasting which was attended by hundreds of natural wine enthusiasts from around the country and judging by the continued mess, it’s going to be a long day. The apperativo tastes like crushed cardamom pods mixed with dried cherries - an amazing combination of flavors and textures but more on that next year when it arrives... Many of you already know about the success Patty Green had in 2006 so this will appeal to those of you that have been waiting for these to debut. In general, this crop of 2006’s shows more varietal tone and elegance than the 2005’s. I need to let them know this evening if we want these so please let us know your interest at your earliest convenience (all of these are severely allocated by the bottle and only a few dozen bottles of each are coming to our state): 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Anden Vineyard” STRICT LIMIT 3/person 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Ana Vineyard” STRICT LIMIT 3/person 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Goldschmidt Vineyard” – STRICT LIMIT 3/person 2006 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Etzel Vineyard” STRICT LIMIT 3/person Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA OR5300 OR5400 OR5500 OR5600
