  April 8, 2012 - Popped and poured for Easter, thinking it was beyond the drinking window. Fantastic surprise! Complex, bright, lively, with oak integrated nicely compared to typical Napa chardonnay.

  January 24, 2010 - Opened early afternoon to use a few ounces in cooking and left on the counter to warm up, pumped and stoppered. After 4 hours and reaching room temperature -- maybe 70 degrees -- I was astonished at how much better this bottle showed. The fruit -- rich baked apple, fig and pear -- was less dominant whereas the honeyed accents and multi-layered background elements of some oak and minerality along with a slight acidity were more obvious making this a better balanced and more rounded wine.

  December 25, 2009 - Light steele/yellow in color. Citrus on the nose. Good fruit -- oranges, lemons, grapefruit -- with a bit of spice and minerality.
