June 1, 2019 - Wow. Thought this was going to be over the hill. But this was great! Decanted for about 45 minutes, drank over next 90 minutes. Pencil/graphite aroma, with jammy cherries added on the palate. Oak and vanilla, with some dry tannins. Much fruitier than expected. Kept getting better.

March 23, 2013 - This is an exquisite wine! Great bouquet, approachable, and long finish. You'd be well served by decanting it or waiting a couple of hous before drinking. I particularly liked the multilayer cherry explosion in the mouth.
