December 25, 2021 - Medium gold with fine bubbles. Some apple, honey and brioche on the nose. Medium body with crisp acidity but creamy and notes of red and green apple, lemon, honey, melon and toast on the palate with a medium-long finish.

Anecdote: the cork broke! So, we had our first try at sabering a bottle of sparkling and it went really well (and saved the day and wine!).

November 26, 2020 - Delicious. However stylistically it tasted more like a Brut rather than Blanc de Blancs. It lacked the precision, crispness, and everything else I love about BdB. Perhaps this is a function of age. I would have guessed 50/50 PN and Chard. Delicious, none the less.

March 2, 2012 - pale straw, fine stream of bubbles. Golden delicious apple, lemon, cream, yeast. Well integrated, well built wine with decent structure, but stylistically a bit more ripe than I like. I found myself wishing for a little less fruit and a little more mineral.

December 12, 2010 - Minneapolis Wine Club does Champagne (Shari's House): Very pale gold color. toast, lemon, yeast, apple. Palate is consistent. Fairly bitter on the finish. Good, but have had better vintages of B d' B.

November 20, 2010 - Very yeasty nose with some intriguing funk aromas. Reminded me of my gym locker...beyond the nose, the palate featured lively citrus flavors with graham crackers and toast. Agreesive bubbles, yet soft and subtle on the palate. Very nice.
