Community Tasting Notes 10

December 5, 2011 - Medium gold.Talcum powder, caramel and pineapple. Very big in the mouth, lots of viscosity and some nice pineapple and caramel flavours and a li=ong dry finish. Would improve.

December 4, 2011 - Gold in appearance, with a kick of sulfur up front on the nose, followed by sweet ripe pear, orange zest, gunpowder, and salty sea mist. Round and ripe on the palate, showing roasted red apples, gingerbread, lemon zest, along with an interesting note of Madeira/Whiskey. High acidity, with a medium+ finish ending with notes of gingerbread and Whiskey. Good.

January 7, 2011 - Nose of olive oil, mint, smoke, butterscotch and vanilla. The wine has a slightly oily texture with green apple, whiskey barrel and lingering mint overtones. Felt a little frizzante on the tongue. The hands-down best bottle of my three.

February 19, 2010 - wonderful citrus balanced with a bit of cream...yet nice and dry...
